About Us

Since 2021, Greenline Foundation has worked to create environmentally friendly spaces in historically excluded and disinvested communities.

Greenline Foundation focuses on the Eastside of Kansas City and is currently working on vacant lots in the 64128 area. We are passionately commited to serving this area and others just like it because under-resourced communities are more likely to lack thoughtful greenspace development for healthy outdoor engagement.

Our Four Pillars of Transformation

I. Affordable Housing & Neighborhood Revitalization

We believe housing is the single largest driver of generational wealth.

  • Minor Home Repairs (MHR): In 2026, we are completing 15–20 repair projects for Oak Park homeowners to help them age in place and maintain the value of their homes.

  • The Ladd School Development: We are providing administrative oversight for the closing of an 82-unit affordable housing project, transforming a historic site into a community asset.

  • A "Give-Back" Model: Unlike traditional developers, we keep mortgages at previous rental rates to maximize community stability over profit.

II. Greenline Entrepreneurs (Community Business Academy)

Economic equity requires local ownership. Our Community Business Academy (CBA) provides a platform for Eastside residents to launch and scale their ventures.

  • 2026 Cohorts: We are hosting Spring and Fall CBA rounds to enroll 10–15 entrepreneurs per session.

  • The Ecosystem: We don’t just teach business; we build an ecosystem where local talent strengthens the neighborhood’s social fabric.

Our 2026 vision is anchored by a commitment to organizational resilience and high-impact community programming.

III. Commercial Development Pipeline

To foster a healthy culture, a neighborhood needs more than houses; it needs accessible services and spaces to gather.

  • Strategic Growth: We are currently securing site control for a new major mixed-use development on the Eastside.

  • Community-Led: Every project begins by asking the neighborhood what they want to see, ensuring our developments serve the people who live here.

IV. The Benton: Our Community Hub

Our new headquarters at The Benton is more than an office—it is a stable community resource hub.

  • Activation: The Benton serves as the home for our CBA launches, community open houses, and a central point for residents to access housing resources.
